Garmin's new item from the Garmin GPSMAP global positioning system family, is a member of the Garmin GPSMAP GPS line, and has a great number of quirks in common with other models of the Garmin GPSMAP family like the GPSMAP 620 and the GPSMAP 530s. What makes Garmin a quality product is that GPSMAP 520 is a GPS. It isn't a camera, nor is it a MP3 player, or a PDA, and it's surely not an address book. I love especially the fact that Garmin infused an aura of beauty into the GPSMAP 520. Garmin's GPSMAP 520 receiver's initial acquisition time is 15 sec and cold acquisition time is 45 seconds. It has marine cartography. In my opinion, one is going to always detect one's route smartly and reliably by using 20 routes and 1500 way points. To wrap of my little sample run up, this is an extremely de luxe little piece.

Garmin steeped a schmick appearance into the GPSMAP 520. The device implements a compass and features waypoint icons. Garmin is warrantied for one year. The mounting arrangement is a glue based dashboard mounting one. It turns continuously and is packed. It is painted black, and promoteses a really cumber free ride. I found the graphics were terribly clear and flowing. The buttons' sensitivity were fabulous. Its screen has a resolution of 240 by 320 and is 5 inch. I particularly enjoy the fact that the Garmin GPSMAP 520's virtua- reporter doesn't ordinarily sound terribly loud and clear, but you can rest assured that at bare minimum he does put together enough of the consonants needed in a street name in order to be capable to of identifying it when it comes up.
